I prefer not to join the forum because I had a little trouble with it. I couldn’t log in to it nor start an account.

I’ve managed to create two accounts very easily.
We have some great discussions here that are going to disappear unless they are in the forum.
A forum helps structure information so it can be found again. You can start a topic on a particular subject and then talk about it.
Comments just go on and on and get lost.
