Who Me?

My name is Inger.

I created this page to celebrate the wonder that is Geronimo Stilton.

My son, Finn,  started reading the series in mid 2009. He is what is known as a visual spatial, or Topsy Turvy Child. He has always struggled with reading but as we have a house full of comics and graphic novels, he is often perusing "visual" books.

When he was ready for larger books I started looking for titles that would capture his attention. As a graphic novel fan and librarian in a previous life I regularly trawled Junior Fiction shelves at our local branch library and when I felt he was ready I showed him the Geronimo Stilton books.

Wow! Normally he would open books, read one or two words and then flip through to see how the illustrations convey the story but he was riveted by this series.

As there was not much information online about Geronimo I decided to create this site to unite readers of all ages, librarians and educators to celebrate this unique and dynamic series.
