Geronimo Stilton Books We Can’t Wait For
If you like Geronimo Stilton and you are enjoying his regular series then you are in for a treat over the next year or so. You know that Geronimo was first written in Italian, right? Well would you believe there are literally dozens of Geronimo Stilton books published in Italy that we have not seen yet in English translation.
To give you a taste of what's to come I've collected a few images of the Italian books and tried (thanks to Edizioni Piemme's site and Google's Translation tool!) to give an idea of what each book is about. Once you have gathered your jaw off the floor, where it dropped in absolute shock and awe, contact Scholastic and ask when these titles will be published over here.
Make sure to let me know when you find out!
Geronimo Stilton Classics Adaptations.
Geronimo Stilton and friends retell classics tales of adventure and suspense. The original classics have been adapted to the Geronimo-style and the stories retold in modern language, all the while being faithful to the original story. Titles include Robin Hood, Homer's Odyssey, Heidi, Sword In The Stone, Call Of The Wild, Little Women, 20 000 Leagues Under The Sea, Around The World In 80 Days, The Jungle Book, Three Musketeers and Treasure Island. Using Geronimo to introduce younger readers to classic tales is a great idea. I know both my kids, one who is 9 and one who is 5, will enjoy these titles when they are released.
Geronimo Stilton Education Series.
Geronimo can help you learn with these titles, if you speak Italian of course. There are only a few titles out at the moment but I'm sure there are more on the way because its a great idea and the Geronimo Stilton series seems to have a penchant for educating readers rather than just telling a story.
There are 3 titles out in Italian: Dinosaurs, My First Italian Dictionary and I Speak English Now. I can't wait for the English versions of the last two. I could think of nothing better than learning Italian with Geronimo.
Geronimo Stilton First Books
Designed as a collection of short stories to read to young children before bedtime these collections contain fairy tales and other stories from around the world. There are four hardcover books out in Italian at present and stories included in the volumes include re-tellings of Pinocchio, Aladdin, Snow White, Hansel And Gretel, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast, The Magic Bean, The Fish Of Gold, and many more.
There are also joke books, activity books, CDs of music to accompany the Kingdom Of Fantasy series, a series devoted to a character known as Joe Carrot (A bunny with ears for mystery), a series of Mini Mysteries, books to help you with creative writing and eating well, another series about a sea captain cat called Gatti Pirati who seems to be out to get Geronimo Stilton, a superhero series and much, much more.
As I said at the beginning of this article, I love the regular series but these titles are a great way to expand on Geronimo Stilton's adventures and I can't wait to read them in English. Otherwise...anyone know of a fast way to learn Italian?

Are you serious?! This is great! I was just looking at buying new book series for Noah, thinking that pretty soon he’d be done with the Geronimo series! I did get him 3 Geronimo Stilton graphic novels for Christmas and he has NO clue that they even exist (which is why I’m keeping him off your site until after Christmas, lol!), he’s going to be so excited. Thanks for all the great info, Inger. I need to check out your site more often
Hey Snoopy welcome back!
I know its very cool that there are so many to come still.
I hope Scholastic stays in for the long haul, I expect they will as Geronimo has been such a success. With the cartoon coming out in a few months its going to get pretty crazy!
Keep an eye out for the Kingdom Of Fantasy series. The first book is out in early December (in time for Christmas shipping!). Thats one I can’t wait for.
